The PCB (polychlorobiphenyls) and PCT (polychloroterphenyls) that exist mainly in electrical transformers and condensers, because of their cancerigenous action and other consequences over the living organisms, are one of the most important ecological hazards of this era.

The PCB and PCT contamination that the materials form these equipments suffer is permanent and irreversible. For that reason, changing them for non contaminant oils does not solve the problem, and the contaminant proportion continues to grow through time. That is why the worlds main ecological regulations agree that the destruction of the contaminated equipments is the only definite solution.

This destruction requires a developed technology and must be done in one of the few plants around the world authorized to do it.
